Amanda Holly is an American meteorologist, weather reporter and meteorologist who has worked as a meteorologist for WFLA News Channel 8 since June 2019. For the past four years, she has worked for the Florida Public Radio Emergency Network and the University of Florida Weather Centrum in Gainesville, Florida.

“While the ferocity of tornadoes is frightening, the science behind their preparation is fascinating,” she once said. “It was breathtaking enough to see the storms form and mature, but seeing the tornadoes in the countryside was unforgettable.”
Holly is a NAUI certified scuba instructor who is also certified in several other technologies such as cave diving, advanced nitrox and decompression diving. She is also a space enthusiast who is very happy to be so close to the Space Coast, especially now that launches become frequent.
