John Andrew Henry Forrest, also known by his nickname Twiggy, is a famous Australian businessman. He is popular as the former CEO of Fortescue Metals Group (FMG). He currently serves as non-executive chairman of Fortescue. Andrew also owns several charitable organizations, the most prominent being the Minderoo Foundation, which he co-founded with his wife.
Forrest is originally from Perth, Western Australia, Australia. He attended Onslow Primary School and later transferred to Chris Church Grammar School and then Hale School. After that, he enrolled at the University of Western Australia, where he majored in economics and politics.
