Audrey Castoreno is an American journalist who currently works as a morning anchor and multimedia journalist at KENS 5 in San Antonio, Texas. she started working with KENS 5 in September 2015. She can be found in the field reports on breaking news of the night or in local deals exclusive to their weekly “Made in SA” feature when not at the table.
Additionally, Audrey began learning the fundamentals of reporting in her high school program, Dobie News when she was 16 years old. Castrono went on to Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, Texas to earn her bachelor’s degree in broadcast journalism. KATS, EAT THEM. She was a member of the university’s television station, KSHU-News 7, and interned at KRIV-FOX 26 in Houston during her college years.
