Alan Rose is an award-winning American meteorologist who can be seen on News5 on weekends and reporting important weather stories for you during the week. Rose joined the weather team in the fall of 2019, and despite his brief stay in southern Colorado, he says he’s already learned a lot about Colorado’s wild and extreme weather.
In November 2019, when doing a live report from the Monument, he had one of his most unforgettable moments. As Alan provided viewers with constant updates on changing traffic and weather conditions, more than a foot of snow fell in single-digit temperatures.
