Brad Nitz is an award-winning American meteorologist who currently works at WSB-TV in Atlanta, Georgia since joining the station in 2006. He appears on Channel 2 Action News at 5 pm every day of the week. Additionally, he anchors Channel Action News Nightbet at 11pm and always appears in areas where bad weather breaks.
Most notably, he began working as a meteorologist for NBC News. Early in his career, he focused on predicting Florida hurricanes and tornadoes at stations in Orlando and Jacksonville.
Throughout his career, he received awards for his work. He received an Emmy Award for his coverage of Hurricane Irma in 2017.
