Cindy Preszler is an American meteorologist working for WFTX FOX 4 based in Fort Myers, Florida. She has been covering news and weather for the station since January 2019. Previously, she served as vice president of marketing, producer, chief meteorologist and public speaker at Weather STL.com in the Greater St. Louis.
She began her career in 1998, when she worked as a chief meteorologist and severe weather specialist for KSDK-TV News Channel 5. While she was her, she made forecasts for alternative cable channels 5.2 and KDNL/ABC. She also served as a morning weather forecaster on WMAQ-TV based in Chicago, Illinois. Cindy was also chief meteorologist for WKYT-TV based in Lexington, Kentucky.
Furthermore, she worked on The Weather Channel as an on-camera meteorologist. Here, she covered the San Francisco earthquake and the landing of Hurricane Hugo. She also worked for two stations as an anchor and reporter in Savannah, Georgia. Cindy was on the American Meteorological Seal Broadcast Board, where she did fill-in work for CBS This Morning. In addition, it has two seals which are the National Weather Association and the American Meteorological Seal.
