Eboni Deon is an American meteorologist who currently works as a meteorologist for WSB-TV in Atlanta, Georgia. In December 2018, she joined Severe Weather Team 2 as a weekend morning weather forecaster.
Deon worked as a meteorologist for WFTV-TV in Orlando and The Weather Channel before joining the WSB. She also worked as a meteorologist for the Weather Channel Radio Network. Eboni previously worked as a broadcast meteorologist for National Weather Networks in Jackson, Mississippi, before joining the Weather Channel.
Eboni also contributed to CNN International’s weather broadcasts. She began forecasting the weather at Al Jazeera America on weekends and part-time in the mornings in 2013 as a replacement for chief meteorologist Nichole Mitchell, who was on the reserve at the time. Deon also joined WISH-TV in her hometown of Indianapolis as a weekend night weatherman on December 9, 2014, then returned to WFTV-TV in January 2017.
Eboni participated Jackson State University in Jackson, Mississippi, and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Meteorology. In addition, she obtained a Masters in Geosciences with a focus on Transmission Meteorology from Mississippi State University. She is also a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.
