Jalen Rose is an American sportscaster and former professional basketball player with a massive net worth of $60 million who is a former member of the “Fab Five” of the University of Michigan Wolverines.
He was a small forward in the National Basketball Association (NBA) for six teams, most notably with the Indiana Pacers, who reached three consecutive Eastern Conference finals, including the NBA Finals in 2000.

He gained massive notoriety as a star at Southwestern High School in Detroit, and can even be seen in the documentary Hoop Dreams at a high school All-American camp. He was traded to the Chicago Bulls for the 2001-02 season. He was traded to the Toronto Raptors after 16 games in the 2003-04 season.
He was traded to the New York Knicks on February 3, 2006, midway through the 2005–06 season, along with a first-round draft pick and an undisclosed amount of money estimated at approximately $3 million. During that season, he earned around $16 million per year.
He announced his signing with the Suns on November 3, 2006. On November 7, it was officially revealed that he had signed a one-year deal with Phoenix worth $1.5 million. With a career average of 14.3 points, 3.8 assists and 3.5 rebounds per game, he retired from the NBA in 2007.
In regards to his broadcasting career, for TNT, he worked as a sideline reporter during the 2006 NBA Playoffs. He has worked for ABC/ESPN since his retirement in 2007, first as an analyst at SportsCenter and later as one of the hosts. by NBA Countdown. Rose has also been to Grantland on ESPN.
He is the founder and owner of Three Tier Entertainment, a management and production company located in Los Angeles. He produced the ESPN documentary The Fab Five in 2011. In 2016, he was in a relationship with ESPN personality Molly Qerim. After dating for two years, he married her for the first time in a private ceremony in July 2018. He filed for divorce from Qerim in April 2021. He claimed that once she left for Connecticut, their marriage fell apart. He said that he had filed for divorce from Qerim on December 8, 2021.
From a previous relationship, he has two children and a son. In the media she has not disclosed the identity of her previous partner.

Jimmy Walker, his biological father, was the first overall pick in the NBA draft and died of lung cancer in July 2007. He never met his father in person, although they spoke on the phone several times.
His mother, Jeanne, named him Jalen, which was a mix of his father’s and uncle’s names, which are James and Leonard respectively. Jalen became one of the most popular names for African-American boys born in the 1990s and early 2000s as a result of his dominance in the NCAA and NBA. In the NBA, NFL, and other North American professional sports, there were 32 players with some variant of the Jalen name on rosters in 2021.
