Jason Mikell is an African-American meteorologist who currently works as a full-time meteorologist at WKYC Studios in Cleveland, Ohio since September 2021. Previously, he was the meteorologist for KVUE TV ABC in Austin, Texas from January 2018 to January 2021. 2018 to September 2021.
Furthermore, Jason went to Pearl River Community College graduating with an associate degree in liberal arts and sciences. He was a member of the Marching Band specializing in drums. Mikell then attended the University of Southern Mississippi, where he majored in Education and Psychology. At university, he was vice president of Psi Chi and a member of Phi Theta Kappa. Mikell then went to Mississippi State University, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Atmospheric Science and Operational Meteorology.
