Jennifer McDermed is a renowned American meteorologist and meteorologist, currently working at Fox 9 KMSP News Station. She works as a meteorologist. Previously, McDermed worked at KQTV in St. Joseph, Missouri.
Immediately after Jennifer graduated from university, she started her career at KQTV. where she did a short stint. She then moved to WHO-TV 13 in Des Moines, Lowa, serving as a meteorologist. In December 2015, McDermed left the station and joined KMBC in Kansas City. She served the station for two years. However, her move to leave the station was described as bittersweet.
Furthermore, Jennifer has covered many tornadoes in Texas, Oklahoma and Kansas. One of the biggest tornadoes she has covered in her career was an F4 in Lyons, Kansas in 2012. Despite being interested in the weather, she enjoys volleyball and basketball games, hiking, kayaking and triathlons.
