Jeremy Baker is a renowned American meteorologist and multimedia journalist for KENS 5 in San Antonio, Texas. He has served as the station’s meteorologist since December 2013. He also produces and reports for the station’s medical franchise “Real Men Wear Gowns”.
Baker began his career as a morning weather forecaster and news anchor for KNDU-TV in Kennewick, Washington. This was after completing his internship at Philadelphia-based Fox29 News.
Jeremy graduated from Penn State University with a BA in Journalism and a Major in History. He then completed the Mississippi State Broadcast Meteorology program. Baker has the American Meteorological Society and National Weather Association seals of approval.
Before moving to San Antonio, he worked for three years at WNCN in Raleigh, North Carolina, as a weekend weatherman and weekday reporter, covering weather disasters such as Superstorm Sandy and Hurricanes Irene and Earl.
Jeremy worked as a meteorologist and reporter for FOX’s Little Rock affiliate for four years before moving to North Carolina. He was the “American Idol” correspondent and the face of the popular “Deal or Dud” segments, in which he tested “As Seen on TV” products.
