Kaitlin Cody is an American weatherman who works as a weekday morning weather forecaster for WFLD, Fox 32 News in Chicago. In June 2017, she became a member of the station’s staff.
Cody earned a bachelor’s degree in meteorology with a major in mathematics from central university of michigan in 2012. During her time at university, she was a member of Alpha Chi Omega Sorority.
After graduation, Cody moved to Bristol, Tennessee to work at WCYB, where she met her husband. She had a lot of fun anticipating the topography of the Appalachian Mountains. Kaitlin has covered everything from floods to ice storms in Bristol.
She later moved to Charlotte, WCCB from North Carolina. She likes to get people up in the morning and has a lot of fun doing it on the Rising show, Monday through Friday. While covering Hurricane Matthew in Myrtle Beach, Cody was able to make daily predictions for the coasts of North and South Carolina.
Cody also worked as an intern at Fox 2 News WJBK from May to August 2011. From January 2009 to December 2011, she worked as a meteorologist at Central Michigan University’s News Central 34. She also worked as a meteorologist on WMHW Modern Rock 91.5 and Mountain 101 from September to December 2011 before joining WYCB.
