Matt DeLucia is an American journalist who has currently worked as a reporter for NBC10 News since 2013. He covers breaking news and stories that impact the community. Prior to joining NBC10, Matt worked as a reporter and anchor at KVVU in Las Vegas, Nevada.
A native of Cherry Hill, Matt is a proud graduate of Camden Catholic Secondary School. Later, he joined La Salle University where he graduated in Communication and also has a meteorology certificate from Penn State University.
During her college years, DeLucia worked as a reporter for the New Jersey Network. He also interned at WTXF-TV in Philadelphia while still working as a freelance reporter for CareerTV.
After graduation, Matt joined WBOC-TV in Salisbury, Maryland, where he worked as a reporter for 5 months. DeLucia then moved to KVVU-TV to work as a general reporter and multimedia journalist. After a year of service, he added the role of a substitute anchor. In 2012, the Associated Press Television and Radio Association named Matt ‘Reporter of the Year’ while on the station.
In 2013, Matt joined NBC10 News as a reporter. He currently serves as a weekday reporter for NBC10 covering the latest news and stories that impact the community. Since joining the station, Matt has covered some of the Philadelphia area’s biggest stories, such as the Amtrak train derailment and the papal visit.
