Nick Gregory is an American chief meteorologist at Fox 5 News WNYW for the 5pm, 6pm and 10pm news in New York City. He has worked for Fox 5 News for three decades, having his first weather forecast on the station on December 26, 1986.
Nic graduated in 1982 from Lyndon State College in Lyndonville, Vermont. He also holds a bachelor’s degree in meteorology. Prior to joining Fox 5 News, Nick worked as a morning weather forecaster for CNN in Atlanta, Georgia. Prior to CNN, he worked for WTLV-Channel 12 (ABC) in Jacksonville, Florida as a meteorologist.
During his career, Nick has been honored with several awards. He served on the American Meteorologist Society’s Board of Broadcast Meteorology and was Chairman of the Board in 1992. In addition, he has received the AMS Seal of Approval for Excellence in Television Meteorology, and both the New York Post and the Daily News” named him the most accurate meteorologist in New York City.
