Steve Sosna biography
Steve Sosna is a renowned American meteorologist and journalist, currently working for the NBC10 First Alert Weather team. Sosna previews weekend nights for NBC10 and also for KYW Newsradio.
Steve grew up in Lansdale, where he attended Lansdale Catholic High School. he then joined Kean University in Union, New Jersey, and majored in Earth Science with a major in meteorology.
Steve is an active member of the American Meteorological Society (AMS) and has earned the prestigious AMS Certified Broadcast Meteorologist (CBM) seal of approval. Steve joined NBC 10 in 2017 from WNBC-TV in New York. Sosna has served as an executive climate producer since 2011 for the network’s flagship station.
