Nick Jansen biography
Nick Jansen is a renowned American meteorologist who currently serves as chief meteorologist for the KTTC Weather Authority since joining in June 2019. Jansen received a bachelor’s degree in meteorology and a geographic information systems (GIS) certificate from Northern Illinois University at DeKalb , IL (home of the Huskies) in May 2015.
Nick began his career as a weekend weatherman at WREX-TV, the NBC affiliate in Rockford, IL. He later became the morning weatherman for TV WEEKan NBC affiliate in Peoria, Illinois.
Nick and Angela have always called Illinois home. They grew up together in the Quad Cities and have been together since high school. The pair got married in May 2018 and are pleased to call Rochester home. They also have two adorable cats, Nala and Ava.
