Rob Duns biography
Rob Duns is a well-known American meteorologist who currently works for NBC2 in Southwest Florida as a meteorologist. During the week, he can be seen on WBBH-TV in Fort Myers, Florida during the 11:00, noon, 3:00, and 4:00 pm news. Duns began working as a meteorologist for NBC2 in May 2014. He previously worked on Newsline 9 WAOW-TV in Wausau, Wisconsin, as a meteorologist and host of “Wandering Wisconsin”.
The Wisconsin Broadcasters Association honored Duns with five awards for his reporting, news writing and photography. Additionally, in 2013, City Pages “Best of Wausau Area” voters selected him as runner-up in the “Favorite Weather Forecast” category. Rob created three documentaries in college that won awards at student film festivals in the US and Canada.
Rob graduated from John Carroll University Tim Russert Department of Communication and Performing Arts with bachelor’s and master’s degrees in communication and performing arts, as well as a certification in broadcast meteorology from Mississippi State University.
