Prior to joining the current station, she worked as a morning weather forecaster for WFXT FOX25 based in the same state. She also served as a presenter and anchor for a CBS affiliate called KXMB-TV in North Dakota for nearly twenty years.
Cindy also worked as a weather reporter for NBC 2 based in Fort Myers, Florida. While there, she was able to cover various weather changes affecting Fort Myers and its surroundings. Additionally, she provided full coverage of the horrific tropical storm that hit Southwest Florida in mid-September 2011. She also worked as a morning weather forecaster for WPTZ in Burlington, Vermont, before joining NBC 2.
Most notably, Cindy began her career as a trainee meteorologist at KXMB-TV before being hired as a full-time meteorologist for over twenty years.
